Abstract :
The model introduced by Schoute [1] is analyzed using a minimum principle for decentralized stochastic control [2]. For certain values of the input message rates p and number N of transmitting stations, simple open-loop strategies are shown to be person-by-person optimal. The true optimal control is shown to be open loop for N = 2 .
