Twenty-five years of control systems society activities

In this issue, the Control Systems Society marks its twenty-fifth anniversary. We are indeed pleased to include on this occasion the following message from our Society President, Dr. J.B. Cruz, Jr. After reading the President´s message, the reader is invited to sample three additional special features of the issue: a historical glimpse of the Society evolution through past and present officers; a Society Organization Chart which, together with data published on our inside front and back covers, explains current Society operation; and a roster of Society members, by geographical location. These features may be found in the closing pages of the issue.
