Abstract :
Essential nuclear reprocessing plant process and monitoring systems require battery-backed supplies to ensure continuity of function during mains outages or disturbances. BNFL Engineering has provided many such systems to BNFL´s Sellafield Site for both green-field site projects and refurbishment of existing facilities. The factors to be considered in engineering these systems are considered
