Abstract :
The signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio and the throughput in multicellular packet switching networks is improved by the joint design of an uplink polling medium access control protocol and a time division duplexing direct sequence code division multiple access physical layer with an adaptive antenna receiver implemented at the base station (BS)
