Abstract
An overview is given of the drastic changes in both measurement technology and interpretation of the obtained data, related to the fields of dielectrics and electrical insulation in general. A history is given of the Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation (TDEI), mainly of the last quarter century, with tables indicating individual contributions by many people, many members of the sponsoring society, the DEIS.
