Abstract :
An inductive energy storage pulsed power system (IESPPS) using high T/sub c/ superconductor (HTS) opening switches, made of YBCO films, was successfully demonstrated. Nanosecond electrical pulses with a pulse compression ratio of 10 and a power gain of more than 40 were produced.<>
