Abstract
The hyperstable adaptive recursive filter (HARF), which is a slightly modified version of Landan´s output error identifier, is reparameterized to fit the new Lin-Narendra error model. This detailed reformulation and its connection to other convergence evaluation techniques provide another bridge between hyperstability and Lyapunov-stability-based adaptive algorithms and allow immediate statement of several HARF characteristics.
