Abstract
The tools discussed in this paper provide a numerical way to deal with ill-posed problems in the control and evaluation of uncertain processes. Although the idea of modeling fuzzy systems may appear somewhat elusive, it is shown that it is n perfectly tractable mathematical concept. This paper has grown from our conviction that many scientists today are potential users of uncertain models, and thus the concepts of imprecise statistics and uncertain evaluation are very useful in discussing the control and evaluation of uncertain processes, represented by fuzzy differential equations and their solutions.
