Design projects

The design project is the most important component of the senior capstone design course. To best prepare students for careers in biomedical engineering, they should be given the opportunity to work on projects with teams that reflect the team environment in an industrial setting. Team composition is important in providing as much of a multidisciplinary team experience as possible. The type of project to which students are assigned should be based on the student´s interests and career goals, and the experience and skills they bring to the project
