Abstract
A digital drift chamber digitizer system has been developed for use in a PEP experiment. The system is packaged 8 channels to a # 1 CAMAC module, and features real time digitization, 5 ns time binning, automatic data compression, and access to wire hit information for use by an external fast trigger processor. The modules are operable in an autonomous digitizer crate with a special digitizer controller, or in a standard CAMAC crate for testing, and incorporate extensive system test and debugging aids.
