Abstract :
This letter addresses the sub-optimal decoding of quasi-orthogonal space-time block codes. First, decoding using a simple linear receiver is considered in terms of the complexity versus error performance trade off. A new Chase-type sub- optimal decoding algorithm is proposed using the inner products in the metric expression as reliability measures.
