Abstract :
This paper presents an analysis of I2R losses on idealized primary distribution system feeders. It is an extension of the work done by Mr. F. C. Van Wormer in 1954.1 Comparisons are made of relative I2R losses in voltage-drop limited and thermally-limited primary feeders operating at different voltage levels. Illustrative numerical examples also are presented.
