Abstract
Two separate studies were made with regard to generator neutral grounding practices. One of these relates to distribution transformer with secondary resistor type of grounding and specifically as to the applicability of L-N rated transformers. The second investigation relates particularly to resonant grounding and to the effect of departures from rated frequency which occur during such operations as load rejection, startup and shutdown on the transient voltages which may exist.
