Abstract :
An equivalent circuit is derived for analyzing the behavior of a linear synchronous machine operating asynchronously. It permits the calculation of all torques and all voltage and current harmonics for any slip with respect to a given stator fundamental frequency input. Relationships to previously reported equations or to supporting analyses are given.
