Abstract :
A 765 kV Low-Loss Pipe-Type AC Transmission Cable with oil-impregnated laminar insulation of cellulose paper and poly-propylene film has been developed. The development of the prototype sample (using specially treated conventional oil), bending tests and EHV tests on one specimen are described. Test results indicate the integrity and reliability of this design.
