Abstract
The author discusses the existing, and soon to be introduced, regulations on health and safety at work, both in the UK and Europe. The effects of these regulations on company´s and their safety policies are discussed. In particular, the author discusses the review of safety carried out by BT through Project Sovereign. The planning processes involved are discussed. The author stresses the importance of following safety rules and practices.<>
