Abstract :
The nonradiative dielectric (NRD) waveguide has been identified as a promising candidate for use at millimetre-wave frequencies. To realise this promise NRD waveguide must support the design of the necessary active and passive components for the realisation of systems and subsystems. The authors describe the principle of a novel modulator for use with NRD waveguide and present preliminary results
