Abstract
MR. DANIELS: The author has given us a paper on a subject in which we are all interested, and I feel that it is a matter which has given us all a lot of trouble. I have my own opinions on the subject, but I have others with me to-night who have had a lot of experience in these matters and are more competent to speak than I. In the matter of charts, job cards, and other records, I am sure we shall be glad to hear the views of those who have had the experience of the working of these for some years. One thing we have done in our business (and I expect others have had to do it) is to re-group the machines to suit the progress of the work in hand. If the machines are re-grouped one can save a lot of time on transport from one machine to the other.
