  • Abstract
    FASTBUS is a new high-speed data-acquisition standard under development by the Physics Community. A general overview of FASTBUS can be found in Reference 1. This paper will deal with two specific areas: addressing and bus arbitration. These two topics are unique to FASTBUS and will require some reorientation of the users relative to their CAMAC experiences.
