  • Abstract
    An efficient modelling algorithm known as fast orthogonal search (FOS) is applied to the estimation of the directions of plane waves incident on an array of sensors. An iterative approach which decreases the mean-squared error of the original FOS model is introduced. The methods are demonstrated and compared with Root-MUSIC in computer simulations.
