Abstract
We have examined the characteristics of H traps in 60 keV H implanted TiB2 coatings, a candidate first-wall material for Tokamak fusion reactors, by means of nuclear reaction H depth profiling. Trap energies, populations and saturation levels were measured. The results indicate that TiB2 has greater H retention than do certain metals.
