Sunny San Diego hosts ICIP 2008 [Conference Spotlight]

The 15th International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP) will be held at the Convention Center in downtown San Diego, California, 12-15 October 2008. ICIP is the world¿s premier conference focused on image processing and its applications. The conference will feature internationally reputed speakers, tutorials, exhibits, and over 50 lectures and poster sessions, including six special oral sessions. As a new concept to ICIP, we will be organizing a one-day workshop, "Multimedia Information Retrieval: New Trends and Challenges," which will feature invited talks, oral, and poster presentations. We hope that the workshop format will (in the future) enable the showcasing of new themes as well as nostalgic ones.
