  • Abstract
    A proposal for a superconducting separated-sector cyclotron for the acceleration of heavy ions using the Munich tandem as injector is presented. Highly stripped ions from the tandem (Z/A=0.5) can be accelerated to energies of up to 300 MeV/n.
