Abstract :
An easy method is presented to make noise temperature correction for the transmission line of a microwave thermal noise source by using three different transmission lines whose characteristics are not necessarily identical to one another. This is a more general method than the one already proposed using an auxiliary transmission line whose two transmission lines are required to be identical to each other and to the line of an unknown source in all characteristics
