Abstract
The high-frequency linear junction used in the network analyzers based on multiport measurement technique has a great number of equivalent implementations, at least theoretically. Some restrictions must be set to minimize the propagation of the error due to power detectors. The effort to look for an optimum circuit configuration set leads to a general conclusion, namely, that every time the q -points position in the Γ-plane has a high degree of symmetry, the related circuit configuration gives an error minimization
