Abstract
Classical methods used to predict the performance of point-to-point sky-wave systems are extended to the design of high-frequency broadcast systems through a summarizing procedure based on the use of time-location samples. Examples of frequency, antenna, and site selection are shown. It is concluded that predictions of these types are most useful when comparisons are involved; e.g. selection of antennas, and choice of sites
