Abstract :
A practical method is described to measure the signal/noise ratio (SNR) as a function of frequency in voice communication systems in the presence of additive noise. The results show the validity of the method, and indicate its usefulness in testing the fidelity of the received signal in hostile communication environments such as land mobile radio and military channels.
