Abstract :
The power output-capability of the class E switching-mode-tuned power amplifier is given as a function of the ON switch duty cycle D at different values of the loaded quality factor Q1 , with the circuit component values chosen to generate the `ideal´ voltage and current waveforms. The maximum power-output capability ranges from 0.0909 to 0.1002 and occurs at values of D from 0.62 to 0.5, over the entire range of Q1 from zero to infinity
