Abstract
It is shown that a sampled-data system remains strongly stabilizable if the original continuous-time system is so and if the sampling period is sufficiently small. At the same time, it is also shown that a sampled-data system can be strongly stabilizable even if the original continuous-time system is not so, and some sufficient conditions guaranteeing this does not happen are derived.<>
