Abstract :
Breakdown voltage of the pseudospark is expressed in terms of power functions of gap width and gas pressures of helium, argon and nitrogen down to the vacuum discharge region. The effect of the substitution of d by deff on the powers n of pressure, m of gap width, and their ratio n/m is discussed. Paschen rule is found applicable for pseudospark when d is substituted by deff
