Abstract :
In this note an algorithm for finding a unique solution {X, Y} of the bilateral polynominal matrix equation AX + YB = C is presented. The solution is obtained by solving a set of linear equations. Relations between the bilateral polynomial equation and the unilateral one are also discussed.
