Abstract
This work presents an overview of the LN-FDTD method (FDTD in local and non-orthogonal coordinate system) to solve Maxwell´s equations. This method has been used to simulate non-orthogonal grounding structures (circular plate electrodes and inclined horizontal rods). The obtained results are compared to mathematical formulas available in literature.
