Abstract
Future mobile communication systems based on direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) require characterization of the radio channel in the multipath delay (i.e., Rake finger) domain (for short, the finger domain). CDMA system designers require channel information about number of significant Rake fingers and their lifetime. This work presents analysis of urban microcellular measurement results for obtaining the active Rake fingers and their life distance.
