Abstract :
A new algorithm is proposed in this note to compute the state feedback for arbitrary pole placement in multiinput linear systems. The algorithm has good numerical behavior. It also allows the user to adjust the eigenstructure of the resulting feedback system and, therefore, improve the condition of the problem and computation.
