Abstract :
Reports experimental investigations at 565 Mbit/s of FSK transmission over a cascade of four laser amplifiers. Optical delay line demodulation was achieved using a fibre-based Mach-Zehnder interferometer. In practice the combination of this modulation format and demodulation technique could be used to minimise crosstalk effects for multichannel laser amplifier systems.
