Abstract
Decision analysis is increasingly being applied as an aid to decision making under uncertainty for electric power system engineering and management. This paper reviews a wide range of such applications in the United States and presents details of a typical analysis that has been utilized in actual decision making. The need for applying the more advanced concepts in decision analysis to more complex cases is also discussed.
