Abstract :
A technological method of regulating the hydrogen-oxygen content in high-temperature superconducting ceramics by suitable alkali-metal substitutions is presented. The system considered is (Y0.86Ba 1.86M0.7) Cu3O7-y ( M=K, Na, Li). An attempt is made to interpret the amount of hydrogen in the form of hydrides and its effect on the substituted Y ceramics. Some peculiarities in the physical properties of the superconducting ceramics obtained are pointed out
