Abstract :
A reduced-order model for complex multifeed gas networks has been developed which is based on an aggregation procedure. The reduced model is then used with an estimation scheme to determine the pressure distribution in the network from a limited number of measurements. The results obtained show that the model yields good steady-state data over a range of operating conditions, and hence a robust estimation scheme has been developed.
