Abstract
In this brief, a peak-current-mode control based on the closed-form loop compensator design is proposed to integrate with a current-sharing circuit to automatically and smoothly adjust the trim signal in conventional dc/dc power supplies. As a result, for single-wire autonomous current sharing of paralleled dc power supplies, not only the minor alarm of the current limit can be avoided, but also the imbalance in current distribution during the transient state can be reduced. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, an example of three 150-W parallel modules is considered. Experimental results are also presented to illustrate the proposed method.
