Reply to comments on ´Analysis of collision probabilities for saturated IEEE 802.11 MAC protocol´

The present authors (Kuan and Dimyati) acknowledge the comments of Foh and Tantra in their earlier Letter. In response, they argue that busy-idle conditions had been studied prior to the publication of Foh and Tantra´s comments. From their observation, different interpretations of the collision probabilities and busy probabilities are identified as fundamental differences between the two Letters.
