Abstract :
An expression is derived for probability of correct association for maximum likelihood-based association using Gauss-Hermite quadrature. We derive a closed-form error bound characterizing accuracy. We generate empirical results using Monte Carlo simulation and show agreement with theoretical results. We show how two limit cases are obtainable from the integral expression.
