Abstract :
In this paper we propose a new method for natural video textures synthesis, using a three-dimensional (3-D) extended self-similar (ESS) fractal model. The autocorrelation functions (ACFs) of original texture increments are estimated, and a synthetic 3-D-ESS process whose increments have the same ACFs of the corresponding given ones is generated using a 3-D incremental Fourier synthesis algorithm. Experimental results for the analysis and synthesis of natural video textures are provided
