Abstract :
We study an improved receiver with iterative channel estimation and decoding for wireless multipath channels with RAKE reception. To keep the complexity low, iterative channel estimation is done on the equivalent channel at the RAKE output. Output after Turbo decoding iteration(s) is processed to yield a better channel estimate.
