Abstract
This paper describes a system for determining the parameters of a transfer function of the form: a constant divided by a polynomial in the Laplacian variable
. The system is described in detail for a polynomial of second order, but may be extended to polynomials of any order. The system may be realized in terms of ordinary analog computer components. It presents the information in a form which may be readily inserted into a controller for realization of a general type of adaptive control system.
