Abstract :
A new method for guaranteeing the capacitor voltage balance in a three-level AC/DC single-phase converter is presented. Using a nonlinear control loop and combinations of redundant switching functions, the capacitor charge balance for any power factor is achieved. Experimental results validate the performance of this proposal.
