Abstract
The design of a new facility being constructed for the Primary Standards Laboratory (PSL) at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico and its design philosophy are described. Temperature control of ±0.01°C for some of the dimensional measuring spaces and isolation from vibration and electromagnetic interference (EMI) for all measurement spaces are among its principal design features
