Abstract :
Measuring the angular distributions and the absolute intensities of the L x-ray lines of gold at 2.4-18.2 MeV nitrogen ion impact, the absolute subshell ionization cross-sections and the alignment parameter of the L3-subshell have been determined and compared to the theoretical results.
