Abstract :
For the most part, this book is well written and offers a nice overview of power system fundamentals at a level that does not require advanced mathematics or physics. It is rich with pictures, graphs, and figures. There are minor issues with omitted and poorly explained concepts and with the use of outdated photos, but these can be fixed in future editions. The book does include most of the jargon that a "nonelectrical professional" might encounter and provides the proper context for understanding the jargon.
