Abstract :
The impedance of a small loop of uniform electric current immersed in a magnetoionic medium is studied for the case of a steady magnetic field normal to the plane of the loop. The quasistatic input impedance is calculated, and a first-order correction term is obtained. The impedance in a uniaxial medium is also given.
