Abstract
In contrast to BIBO stability for linear systems, nonlinear systems require specific restrictions on the input as well as the initial conditions. It is proved that nontrivial restrictions exist. A constructive method for finding the input and state-space restrictions that guarantee stable operation of nonlinear systems is developed
